    Greetings from the Hospitality Hut,

At the June meeting of the USA Dive Club, I was pleased to introduce one first-time guest.

Member Joe S. was accompanied by guest Brad Engel. Brad has been diving since 1985.  He was certified in the state of Indiana and has logged over 3,000 dives.  Brad is a Master Instructor and the new owner of Aqualife Divers, located in Pompano Beach, and gave a brief presentation about his new operation.  For those who were unable to attend the meeting, below is the message he sent thanking us for welcoming him.  Brad wrote:

"Dear Members of the Under Sea Adventurers Dive Club,

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone for welcoming me to your meeting and giving me the opportunity to speak about Aqualife Divers.  It was a pleasure meeting so many passionate divers and learning more about your club and its members.

For those I did not have the opportunity to meet personally, my name is Brad Engel, owner of Aqualife Divers in Pompano Beach, Florida.  I purchased the business in February 2026 and have been focused on building a premier scuba charter operation that emphasizes safety, professionalism, small-group diving, and exceptional customer service.

Aqualife Divers offers daily reef and wreck diving, snorkeling excursions, private charters, and diver training.  Our goal is to provide a personalized experience where divers spend less time traveling to dive sites and more time enjoying South Florida's incredible underwater world.

As a thank you to the members of the Under Sea Adventurers Dive Club, I would like to offer an exclusive club discount.  Members may use discount code:  CLUBUSA  when booking online to receive your special club rate.

I look forward to seeing many of you aboard Aqualife Divers in the future and having the opportunity to show you some of the amazing reefs and wrecks that South Florida has to offer.

Thank you again for your hospitality and support."

    Safe Diving,

    Greetings From The Hospitality Hut!

I wish all our beautiful moms a very Happy Mother's Day!

I am happy to report there were 2 returning guests at the April general meeting.

Back in the day, Margie would join us on several local dives.  She was certified in 1980 in Colorado and has logged 942 dives.  Margie would like to dive in Palau.  It is so nice to see familiar faces return. Thank you Margie, it was a pleasure to see you again.

He was certified in Delray back in 1989.  Jeffrey enjoyed his dive on Mount Olympus in the Bahamas and would like to dive the Truk Lagoon.  He is an Open Water diver and enjoys spearfishing on walls and while drifting.

    Greetings From The Hospitality Hut,

I was enjoying the warm sunny days when another chilly spell appeared. Hopefully, the warm Florida sunshine will return very soon.

At the March general meeting, I introduced guest Terri Coburn.  She was brought to the club by member Robert.

Terri is a Master Scuba Diver Teacher and enjoys all aspects of diving. Being certified in 1989, she has logged many dives.  Terri has submitted her membership application and is now a member, welcome to the Club.

    Greetings From The Hospitality Hut,

Ahhh, the warmer temperatures are returning to south Florida and I for one am very happy about that.

At the February general meeting it was nice to see a familiar face in the crowd. Former member, Bill Watts,  joined to hear our presentation on the benefits of a custom made wetsuit.

Holiday Greetings From The Hospitality Hut,

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and all the best in the upcoming New Year, 2026.

There were no first time guests to introduce at the November meeting. We did, however, have a wonderful presentation from member Rob M.

Ronnie is a busy little bee working to arrange a lovely Holiday Party for the club at the Elks Lodge.  I am sure it will be a great success.  Thank you Ronnie for once again taking charge of this Social gathering.

Happy Thanksgiving From The Hospitality Hut,

Well, it's that time again.  We are all preparing for the upcoming Holiday Season. Fall is in the air and kids will be knocking for Trick or Treats!

We had 2 first time guests attend the October general meeting.  First Simon Prout joined for Happy Hour then the meeting. Simon was certified in "the ocean" back in 1990.  He has logged over 1000 dives.  Simon enjoys sightseeing on walls and spotting a losbster or two.

Sally Craig, friend of Kim W attended as well. Sally has around 55 dives since being certified in 2005 as an open water diver. She enjoys fish watching especially in Bonaire.

It's always nice to see old friends join a meeting.  "Lindy" L, a former member, and his brother Jerry enjoyed catching up with club members and recalling memories from past years.

    Greetings From The Hospitality Hut,

It's always a treat to see family members attend a meeting of our club. That is what happened at the September general meeting.

Robert Jacobs, son of member Jeff,  attended his first meeting. Bob is not a diver and has recently relocated here from Orlando. Hopefully he will catch the bug, so to speak, and decide to take the plunge and get certified.
